Ice Plant (Delosperma Fire Spinner™) |
Have Rocks |
I haven't had much luck with ice plant making it through a winter, but I keep trying. 2020: 1 is gone, 1 is barely holding on right next to the sidewalk. It bloomed briefly. 2019: 2 of these - planted really late. Bought plants. |

Ice Plant (Delosperma obtusum Table Mountain®) |
Have Greenhouse Rocks Tender/Annuals |
2022: A buttload from seed. Put most of them in the rocks and stuck a few in the GH around one of the barrels. 2021: 4 tiny plants from seed. Very slow to get any size to them so far. Planted - E of water middle by pink crawler, in front of the water in the flat area, behind the water, not sure. I don't actually expect these to make it through the winter. It's rare for me. |

Have Aspen Here & There Rocks Dead Zone |
Aspen: These decided to be here all on their own, growing out of the lawn at the foot of the stairs, kind of mixed in with the creeping thyme. H&T: Under the sumac and into the lawn. Rocks: I didn't plant them here either, but they brighten things up while in bloom. 2020: There are really a lot of these here now. I think they're jolly so they can mostly all stay. Z5: These were around the circle, but I don't see them anymore. |
