FS-PS, drought tolerant, 12" summer. Also sold as Senecio cineraria. Hardy to -5°. Sometimes these make it through the winter in a protected area. Thrives in hot, dry conditions, tolerates poor soil. I don't find the flowers particularly attractive and usually just cut them off. Pinch center 2022: There's still a couple alive in the GH garden. 2021: Planted 8 little starts in the GH triangle. I also put some in the wheelbarrow with the petunias. |
