WARNING! Cute plant name, but I HATED this plant and dug it up and threw it out. Unlike the beautiful large "Big Blue" Eryngium, this one is small, stubby, not especially blue, and it RESEEDS AND SPREADS LIKE CRAZY! I grew it for one season and could already tell it was going to be an aggressive thug even with deadheading. I dug up and threw it and all seedlings away, but it took a few months to find and pull up all the new plants that quickly sprouted. (Tap roots are deep on these too.) A year later, I still keep an eye out for any late sprouting ones that might be lurking. I am in California Zone 9b.
