Another grower shared these family heirloom seeds with me. They have been grown for over 25 years by George Detsikas who obtained them from an Italian man that had brought them over from Italy. These are so beautiful. Most grow over 1 pound and are blemish-free. No cracks or cat-facing. Extremely meaty! Excellent sauce maker. The texture is a bit on the softer side. Very intense tomato flavor. Surprisingly early for such a large tomato. The first one to ripen in my garden this year. Very productive. ~
