Sempervivum Gravel Cheat
Posted on Jun 3, 2020 9:49 PM

Just wanted to share something with you guys...

When I got my first sempervivums, I could not get any gravel mixture for my sempervivums' leaves not to rot, because stores were closed due to COVID-19. And I was really worrying because @valleylynn told me that they needed a certain type of gravel mixture beneath them in order for the leaves not to rot (which I know I already stated, just stating it again because Lynn told me that it was ABSOLUTELY necessary to have)

So I wandered around my yard thinking what to do. Then, I came across some gardening perlite, and had a great idea!

Why not just substitute perlite for the gravel mixture until I can get to the local gardening center? That is exactly what I did, and it really works!

So if any of you don't have the gravel mixture for your semps immediately, then I highly recommend to just use your gardening perlite!

That is, if you have gardening perlite, because if you don't, well, let's face it: you and your semps are completely and utterly doomed.

Wolf Info and Pics
Posted on May 12, 2020 9:18 PM

These pictures were just taken of a mother grey/gray wolf and her pups by a trail cam at Denali National Park in Alaska:

There are black wolves in those pictures as well, which are just a variation of grey/gray wolves, in case some of you were wondering. The only problem I have is that it looks like there's a canis lupus lycaon (eastern timber wolf) pup in the first picture, but it could be that the little grey/gray wolf pup just has fur that's a little bit more red.

Pepper seed planting
Posted on Apr 19, 2020 11:19 AM

Well, it's my first blog, and I must say, I'm super happy. I've been waiting to write a blog, and I've finally unlocked it. Anyway, let's not talk about me. Let's talk about pepper seeds I planted.

Me 'ol mum gave me instructions on how to plant the seeds, and I put the soil in, pressed the seeds in very gently, and lightly covered the seeds with soil. Just today I put the seeds out in the warm sun, and I hope they'll emerge from the soil soon.
I'll keep everyone updated on how it goes, but I'm just crossing my fingers so hard that it works out!

P.S. not too happy with my 6 year old sister right now, because she ran a stick through the seed pot! D'Oh!
