I thought some things go without saying, but apparently not.

All seeds should be clean and free of chaff.
If there is a small amount of chaff, or some seeds like fall anemone seeds are super tiny and come in cottony fluff and you're packing that, please specify in your listing.

Flowers only.
Herbs that produce lovely flowers and would be grown for their flowers alone can be included, but limited.
Flowering bushes like hibiscus can be included. No trees, please. And really would prefer to limit the "shrubs" per se.
Those can be offered in any of the other swaps.

THANK YOU!
Looking forward to a great swap!

Hi All,

This swap is three weeks away, and I'm sure that time will fly for all. Brings us that much closer to spring!

I'm setting a minimum variety (different items, not total offerings) of 40 for participants. There is a wide gulf between what many people list, and I'm trying to be fair to all. So If you've participate in ANY of the fall/winter swaps here, you must meet that minium to play.

We have one newbie, who will not have to meet that minimum if they can not.
We understand when you're brand new!

Please start get your listings up. If you've signed up for the swap in hopes of participating, but have found that you're not going to be able to, please remove yourself from participation ASAP so I have real handle on how many participants we have

The majority of all listings should be up a week prior to 2/15; you can continue to add items thru that last week.

(Sent this message to all currently participating on 1/24 and posting here to make sure everyone sees this)

PLEASE review your listings. I'm seeing grasses and trees and veggies/herbs.
Please remove these.

Trying to keep this a FLOWER swap.

My feeling at this point is I will hold the swap for those who are still interested and those who meet the 40 min. offered. (Newbie/s excepted).

There's a small amount of us, but I think some goodies, and let's have some fun and get some new seeds!

Please get the majority of your seeds listed by 2/7/19.

As you know, you get so many tickets the first night, and each night that is added to, so the more you list sell (esplly the first night) the better you make out in the swap. This is to encourage people to list more, and more interesting varieties that people want. It's a good system :D

THANK YOU for hanging in there with us and participating!

Val

Glad to hear the swap is still on! Looking forward to it. Since this is the last one I'm good with you holding my January swap seeds and sending them together with this one. Hopefully easier for you and I'm in no hurry.

Hi Peeps,

I see some of you have been busy this week adding more items :D

Please look over your lists. This is a FLOWER SWAP.
I know most of the swaps are "anything", but I'm trying to keep this within the confines of fowers.

Please remove any grasses, herbs that are not profusely flowering, shrubs , trees, etc.
Shrubs like "hibiscus" are allowed as they flower profusely. Otherwise, I'd rather not see alot of shrubs in the swap unless they are like hydrangeas that bloom for a long period of time, for instance.

THANK YOU ALL!!!

Have a great weekend -- and swap is just a week away!

Best

Hi all,

Sorry I've been MIA the past couple days, crazy stuff going on the past couple weeks and just trying to keep my head above water! :D

I'm setting the ticket multiplier at 6 for this swap. I had hoped to do more of a lightening swap (bigger numbers) but we just dont have the listings to do that, and this will give you double the number of tickets of a normal swap, considering it's a 3 day swap instead of 7.

So firm up your wish list and get ready -- Only 2 more days to go til swap time!

As always, let me know if you have questions. I will try and check in here but if you want to Tree-mail me, I'll probably see it faster in most cases!

Hi All,

One more night left to the swap! Please remember to go to your profile and fill in your address - and/or even better, send me a return address label with your name/address so I can just slap in on your bubble mailer.

If you are running late sending your seeds, PLEASE give me a heads up via message.

Hope you're all getting some great seeds to grow!

BONUS SEEDS OFFER --

When the Swap ends (so that everyone has fair chance to use their tickets) this evening,
please look at my list (you can do this by using the "Access the full list for this swap" and then at the upper right, choosing my name under "View only items from" vma4922.

If you are interested in up to 15 packs of bonus seeds of your choice from my list that have not sold, please do the following
MESSAGE me privately with your list:

Your 5 top wants

Your next 5 wants

Your runner up 10-20 wants (most wanted at top)

First message will get first choice (ie if there is only one pack). And I will go down the list for everyone's top 5, then I will go back to the next 5. If something is gone, I"ll have your other runner ups to know what you'd like.

Hope this will help "pad" your swap goodies a little - and my way of thanking for you for participating in the swap!

Have a great week everyone!
Val

Looks like I will have over 60 seed packets that were actually wish-listed, left over. After the swap tonight, if anyone wants to send me a Treemail list of their 10 favorites in order of most to least wanted, I'll go through the #1 choices first in the order that they arrive, then the #2 choices, etc for at least 7 seed packets each. All my seed is 2018, and I'm trying to keep it that way.

Thank you Val, for your very generous offer!

Hi All,

I did receive all the swap seeds before the weekend, but had to go out of town. back last night before the snowstorm, but we'll be digging out (guess I shouldn't have taken today off from work - I think we might have gotten a snow day!)

I will be finishing up the labeling to get these out Tues or Wed.

Will post when they are in the mail

Val,
I know it's a pain but I'd love my tracking #. Can't wait for these!
Thank you SO MUCH for the two auctions.

BTW, does anyone know how Karen's family is doing?

FYI. it may not help right now, but you can sign up for USPS informed delivery. You can track a package from the day it's dropped in the mail all the way to your mailbox, and you don't need tracking numbers. Great way to stalk seedy packages.
