My question is has anyone tried growing the Canarium ovatum commonly known as the Pili tree in continental USA? I see it listed as primarily hardy to zone 12, but was wondering if maybe some micro clients in the south east of USA in zone 10-11 may have resulted in them growing.

I'm thinking not since almost no info shows up on it.
