I've bought roses from Greenmantle. They were good plants and well worth the price.

I have looked at them too and have heard that they are a very good nursery. What are you thinking of ordering from them?

I don't know exactly. I was more just curious because I had never heard of them before.

I think I might've ordered from them a few decades ago. I think that might be where I got my beautiful MY CHOICE ht.

Me too, Carly! I don't know how I missed an own-root nursery for all these years and they are in Calif! However, when I asked on here before, they got very good reviews from folks who would know, so I would love to see what you order from them and how your roses grow. They have a couple of roses I would like to try but unfortunately, I have no space.

I've received roses from Greenmantle the past two years. Most of the roses I wanted were not available, but she will put you on a list, for a $5.00 deposit per rose, to reserve them for you and ship once available. They carry some of the rarer variety's. Ordering is done via an order form you have to snail mail in. She does not email at all, so it takes some time, but her roses are worth it!

BTW, Carly, I have a rose from HimmingbirdRose's nursery and it is doing great, so if you are looking for a rose, she is also a good source!
