I have had this plant about 10 years. It blooms nicely every year, very dependable. It has plenty of blooms, the foliage is nice too. I like the plant, but I have several with this look that I like better.

I have had Black-eyed Susan for many years also. It makes a nice clump and looks beautiful when at peak bloom time. My clump is in need of dividing as it has reduced its bloom output the last couple years.

I too have Black-eyed Stella which I think I will cull as well as Blackberry Candy. Both look a lot like to Black-eyed Susan. Gott keep Susan because of the name for sure. Smiling Same as me (without the black eye). Smiling

This is only the second year for my Black Eyed Susan but it produced several blooms late in July. I had so many pink, peach and salmon colored daylilies that I added this one but mostly because it was only $5. Smiling

Black Eyed Susan is another cultivar that I bought from Seawright a long time ago. They had their stock from Don Stevens, the Hybridizer, who mentored them for a number of years.

My plant has done fine, a nice cheerful splash mid season. Again, all the Stevens plants do very well here in their home zone. It's a bit of a question mark if I still have this Daylily, as all of the ones in that area were dug out and moved when the deck had to be rebuilt. I guess I'll find out next summer!

It's not listed on registration but this year [2022] I have up to 16 buds on 4 way branching. Last year [2021] up to 22 buds on 5 way branching. Reasonable fan expansion here: 5 @ 2021; 8 @ 2022

I saw no sign of this plant, it's probably gone.

Black Eyed Susan has been here for several years in my Z:5 garden. Reblooms is sparse in my garden. It pairs well with its namesake from the other genus.

This is the first "Daylily of the Day" that I actually have growing in my zone 7b North Georgia garden, so I am excited to chime in (better late than never). I purchased a fan from G.H. Wild in 3/2019, and this variety has done better than most of the others I purchased at the same time. It has multiplied into a large clump, which I have divided into 3 clumps. It often gets multiple blooms open on the same day. The bright large blooms show well in my daylily terrace garden.
