This was given to me a short while ago. It's in a container so I'm guessing it could grow larger in the ground. Anyway, I was watering when I noticed the flowers and thought I'd post. I also wonder whether this plant is normally somewhat yellowish it whether it might be soil/container/heat/etc.

Is there drainage holes in that pot? I'm not sure what plant it is but IMHO I think it's going to rot with all that water. Other member's will have more advice for you.

Yes, there are drainage holes. I allowed it to go dry and was in the process of watering when I snapped the picture. The standing water you see was gone in seconds.
