Been thinking about one of these. Some here love them. It's much smaller than I thought. It needs full sun to operate. It is not like a solar light that gathers sunlight in the day to charge up to work at night. It ONLY works in sunlight. The stronger the sunlight the stronger the force of water. When in dappled sun it spurts on and off. In full sun it runs continuously. I got the fountain to attract birds to a bucket of water I leave in the forest for them. It will work to let them know it's there and available as long as the sun is shining on it.. Though I have seen them perch on the edge of the bucket so I am not sure I even needed it? I guess I don't have to worry about it running at night. LOL I used a coupon and got it for a mere $3.99 so I am not out a whole lot of money.

Me, too, Cheryl. Hilarious! I've got a constellation's worth on my right hand, and two tiny, barely noticeable, ones on my left. Shrug!

If only dirt worked like a facial mask! btw when used religiously all through the day Excipial Hydrating Healing Lotion and Cere Ve Dry and Itchy Skin Lotion (Red bottle cap) do wonders for healing and hydrating.. Available at most stores. Let's face it. You wash your hand and skip one does of moisturizing it looks like my hands today, as if you never used anything! And after I put sunscreen on my face, (you do do that daily, right?) I rub the extra on the back of my hands. lotioned up for camera test. We'll see!

Sighing! Gah I'm OLD!
Sorry we ventured off topic again. I bet if I had a fountain on my hand for constant moisture it would look better. There! Back on topic. Rolling on the floor laughing

Cheryl ! Love the fountain ! Where'd you get it?

PS: you wear nail polish ? ! How do you keep your polish so nice? LOL - the old saying around our road, when we gather for a wedding or a funeral, "geez you clean up nice !"

Amazon. They range in price from $8.99up to $30. I am glad I didn't play $30. I am glad I didn't pay $9! LOL I simply don't have enough sunlight.

Polish keeps my nails strong while I dig around. I am Team No Gloves. They break less often with polish Here's a hint: Any glitter polish stays on forever! I usually top whatever color I wear with a bit of glitter. City Girl, here! LOL Rolling on the floor laughing

I used a good (Avon) hand scrub last night on my hands and fore arms. I guess I have been amiss lately. Then lathered up with the 2 thick lotions. Not quite time to bring out the cotton gloves. But I will before I have to. Sighing! Working Hands. They are high maintenance! Like a fountain. Lol. On topic.

Folks - don't worry about getting old and wrinkly - be proud of your years. Worry instead about NOT getting old! Keep gardening, keep moving, and keep learning. And just think how much fun we have with our toys now -- solar water fountains for the birds, props for our flowers, yard art for our eyes, wind chimes for our tranquility. Much better than burping baby dolls and toy trucks of our not-so-old years (though those trucks look great in the garden!)

Just a comment they went out of business so in 10 years only those of us that are a certain age will remember that jingle.

I used to work there for 3 years in while in college at CSULB .( Or now they call it LBSU I think?? ) It was fun. I was part time. No benefits but they gave me stock. I cashed it out and felt really rich! LOL
