I just thought I'd share this as I though it is a very interesting and cool little plant I found growing at my parent's house.




Apparently it is Chimaphila maculata or Spotted Wintergreen.

I'm very new to plants/gardening and I love finding little treasures like this and learning about them and their uses!

That's very neat. I find interesting new plants all the time on my property and often wonder how they ended up there... probably from the birds or the wind spreading seeds is often the case. Thanks for sharing!
