Sue, I don't use the acorns much either. I decide occasionally to do my own 'reward' system. My latest is to give a nut to whole plant photos which I think are far and few but are helpful. My other one is properly tagged landscape photos. It kind of becomes a game of my own.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

You're always very generous Sue. I thought of you earlier today (technically yesterday). Someone that I've become friendly with here on NGA mentioned that she was down to her last few acorns. So I tossed her 20 and started to tell her that she should contact you. But then I thought that was rather presumptuous of me, to say the least. (Duh.)

Like Deb, I have my own reward system. Currently, I'm very partial to people who post things that intentionally or not make me laugh. And of course I like people who can definitively answer my questions.

So anyway, if you want to toss me some from across the pond, I'll have some extras to toss at a few members closer to home. Or you can wait to see how many people flood you with requests. That might really make me laugh. (Oh slap me.) In the meantime, I'm surfing around and listening to the BBC.

Yes I do always appreciate the acorn tips I get but sadly they are of little use to me. I'm just back from a week in Yorkshire and have lots of photos to add to the database so that will stock me up even more. I visited several really stunning gardens (and some wonderful Norman churches).

I have close to 2000 acorns at present so am always happy to donate.

How nice that you could get away. I'll be looking for your pictures.

I really want to visit some special gardens close to home. I told myself I'd go before the weather gets too hot. Well, the temps are already close to reaching 100F. I think we missed 'Spring'.

Sue, I would appreciate some of those acorns.

Sue,

I find myself always short on acorns, but I don't mind 'working' a little for them. I know one person gives acorns to people who post a creative gardening idea, another gives extra acorns for pictures of older irises added to the database...

I would love any extra acorns you might have, but feel free to request something (that I can do) in return. Smiling

Sue--
If you still have any acorns that you are giving, please consider tossing some to me. I would very much appreciate it.

Either way... May many blessings find you in June!

Acorn Sue, I love your photos. You have a gift, and it's wonderful that you share it, and the resulting acorns!
I'm not begging for acorns, but making a suggestion in case you don't clean out your squirrel stash with your current generosity: You could team up with Dave, and offer some as prizes in each raffle, as others have done. Acorn
