My neighbor bought Garden of Gethsemane in 2010 and then she moved a few years later. I got the plant in 2014 when I asked the granddaughter who had purchased the house if I could have the daylilies (she is not a gardener and did not want them. They were mowing them down!). My neighbor did not mark the daylilies with names, but she did leave the tags buried in the soil, so when I dug up GOG, I was so thankful to get it. It is a very nice garden plant.
Just looking at all my pictures, GOG probably has 2-3 way branching. Can't really tell how many buds, but not more than 15 I guess. I do have a picture that was taken in the evening late June 2017 and the color does fade quite a bit throughout the day. It could probably benefit from some shade.
GOG pairs nicely with this NOID daylily. The NOID is about 15 inches tall, so Garden of Gethsemane is about 24 inches, I would guess. I have since moved Garden of Gethsemane, but it has multiplied well.
