Do you have a photo of the entire plant, showing the leaves? The bloom spike reminds me of Aechmea of some sort but I'm not really sure. Check out some of those in our database for comparison: https://garden.org/plants/sear...

Hopefully someone will recognize it and be able to point you in the direction of an exact ID.

I'm not a Brom expert by any means but it sure looks like Aechmea nudicaulis to me! If you post those photos over on the Bromeliad thread in the Tropicals forum, I bet someone will recognize it and be able to offer an exact ID: The thread "Bromeliads" in Bromeliads forum

Lin, I agree with your ID. I recently saw A. Nudicaulis in flower and it looks like what I remember.
