I have found several large Garland or Iowa crab apple trees. It might be spring before I can be sure which it is.
They have fascinating characteristics!

Yes they do! I wish there were more of them, but they have greatly declined from Cedar Rust holding them picking on them and maybe Fireblight and Apple Scab too. Most people only know the Oriental Crabapples fromEast Asia
