My friend knows I love succulents. Fascinated, would be the word. Friend decided to give me some of her collection (we exchanged) Smiling I asked her if this was a plant or a pine leaf. She said, as far as she knows it's some sort of succulent. She gave it to me because I gave her burro's tail. Something she's been longing for and she speculates they're in the same family.

I don't know. I've never seen anything like it ... thought I saw it all then "poof" a succulent that reminds me of a pine/cedar needle.

Thoughts?

#Stumped. Driving me crazy. Can't find X on it. About to give up. Hopefully someone amongst the savants and geniuses here have come across it or know what it is. O.O'

I would take a cutting from that plant as the bottom part above the soil looks dead.

Hardy in 8b AL, so probably hardy where you are too, though in the name of safety, no harm in bringing inside this winter, then starting new cuttings in the spring if you want to try some outside.
