Yikes. These tomatoes just look 'wrong' to me, like well on their way to rotting (I assume that is not the case). Hopefully they taste better than they look? Curious to hear how they produce and what they taste like, and more importantly, what draws your interest to them.

Hi Deb,

The comments section for database entries are for "posting an informative comment about a plant" such as additional info and personal growing experiences. If you have questions about the plants/photos, it's best to enlarge one of the photos, Rita has two, scroll down and ask her directly. It then starts a thread in the Plant Photos Forum. She most likely won't see the one in the database entry unless she happens to visit that entry and scroll down past the photos.

I'm curious too how they taste! nodding

Thanks Sue. I wasn't really focused on any one photo, all of them look odd to me. I figure this is the best spot for my comment as it may be seen by folks researching or growing this particular cultivar.

I grew them last summer. Mine were disgusting to put it politely. Thick skinned, crunchy, with a sour yet bitter flavor and insides like goo. Kept growing even after an early snow in November, not that I was grateful for it.
