Love It! Lovey dubby Is that the flower? Or someone elses?

My Albuca is Albuca Augrabie Hills...not as pretty as the curly tops yours have, but I like their chubby base, reminds me of an onion Big Grin
It grows more actively here during the cool season:

It is dormant right now, so just sitting it out in shade...it will be Fall again when I see it perk up.

Okay so now my A. spiralis is starting to slowly uncurl??? I looked up information on this and I read that in warm/moist environments they straighten out and in cool/dry environments they curl up.

Any thoughts/experience with this? I have only watered it once since I got it. It is in a well-draining soil and pot.

Okay here is a pic of my Albuca.... the tips have uncurled and are starting to turn brown at the tips. Is it just struggling to acclimate to its new environment now that I have brought it home?? Thanks!

It could be acclimating, or if it is like my Albuca going dormant at this time of the year.

Has anyone grown these from seed? I've seen this info in 2 places:
"The seeds of your "Albuca spiralis" need to be sown quite deep at around 5 – 8 cm "
"plant your seeds at any point in the year and place them outside in a cool spot with filtered sun light.
"your seeds need to go through the cold winter to instigate germination."
"will only germinate in the spring after chilling or freezing in the moist seed tray in the winter."

If they are planted 2-3" deep why do they have to be in filtered sunlight??? I'm thinking I can just cold stratify them in the fridge but the depth?
Any one have any experience with this?
