My last hired help was notorious for randomly planting things in my yard. I think this is one of those things. Last year my husband cut it down but its back this year.
I don't see any nearby tree that resembles it. That's why I suspect my last garden helper planted it. (I'd ask him but there is a frustrating language barrier). Does anyone recognize it?

Maybe White Mulberry - Morus alba.

Mulberry would be my guess too.

The leaves seem longer white mulberry. But definitely a mulberry. Thank you both. Suspicious of red mulberry. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
