I may have neglected watering too long. It is also usually fairly warm where the monstera sits because it is high on a shelf. And I mean like HOT up there. Could she be cooking???
I keep it near a western window that gets no direct light because of an alley, filtered through a netted screen and half open blinds. I think it probably just dried out a lot and I need to water it more than I have been. Thoughts?

just being hot doesn't hurt a Monstera deliciosa. They originate in Mexico. They grow outdoors in a lot of Florida in extreme summer heat (90-100F) and extreme humidity (80-100%). My guess is its a combination of perhaps under watering and low humidity. Is it near an AC or heating vent up there?

Okay that's what I thought. It doesn't look like a pest from my research, but it's in the room where my heater tends to run and it doesn't get a lot of humidity and I really had waited a while to water it unintentionally. Otherwise she has seemed quite happy

I'm sure she is fine.
