Hailing from a not too distant planet to that of Trachystemon Orientalis, can anybody identify this plant ?

In hospitable conditions, it reseeds like crazy. Really handy in flower arrangements, the blooms and all stages of the very cool seedpod development.

My climate is too hospitable. I barely survived the onslaught.

First time growing these and love them. They are finished blooming so waiting to catch the seeds.
