I am trying to decide if I like this one or not. I would love to see it before I made a purchase. I am curious what its seedlings might look like.
Does anyone grow it?

I just got it in fall 2022, but will not see any blooms for at least 4 months. I had the same feeling when I saw it "do I love this or hate this"? I decided I loved it.

Reason to be cautious: Only the same handful of photos are out there online, despite it being a 2018 release.

There are other new ones coming online. Someone from this forum has just introduced one called polka dot passion:
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Polka Dot Passion')
She has show her spots passed onto the kids, if I remember right:

Polka Dot Passion is one of my registrations Smiling It shows spots most of the time in my garden; it was moved to a new spot last year with full sun all day, so we shall see what the results are this year.
It is producing a variety of looks in its kids, but it is also passing on the spotted trait to the kids. These are in full sun all day and all have the trait.

I will have several hundred more to bloom from it this season, with lots of sibling crosses and back crosses to PDP. I'll try to remember to share the results here in this forum, or feel free to look me up on FB at Regina's Daylilies.

Thanks for the mention!

Hi, Regina
Great job! Do you have seedlings in other colors with the spots?

I don't...at least not yet. I will have several hundred that should bloom this summer with spotted breeding. Crossing my fingers Smiling
