When you get a ๐Ÿ‘ from an old post is there an easy way to go back to said post? I got one from a post made almost 2 years ago...would love to easily go back to the conversation that led to my post. Hope that makes sense ๐Ÿค”

I recall being able to click the hyperlink here
Thumb of 2022-09-16/JebobaTea/2f7931
to view the post (and only that post) which received the thumb, but I don't think there's any way to jump there directly while still being able to view the rest of the thread

Sure there is. First tap on the hyperlink that Jeboba Tea circled and it takes you to that post. From that you can see the thread, the date and time of that post. Go to the thread and you might have to scroll a awhile if was a long, ongoing thread, but you can eventually find the posts that led up to it.
Thumbs up

Both answers I had already considered, but didn't know if perhaps there were an easier way. Never hurts to ask...thanks to you both ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Yeah, I've also found that to be a problem, Ginger. What I do, is if it is a long thread, I set my thread settings to 500 posts per page, and then use the "find a word" setting on my browser to find that conversation.

For instance, I recently somehow found an individual post I made back in June on the 2022 Tomato Thread. Well, I don't know if you know how long of a thread that is, but it's a big 'un. I went to my settings and set the posts per page to 500:
Thumb of 2022-09-16/Johannian/c18107
Thumb of 2022-09-16/Johannian/656fc9

That shortened the thread from 170 pages to 7. Much easier. Then, I used the "find on page" option (if you're on computer, I think you'll have to press ctrl+f, but in the following image this is how I do it on iPad):
Thumb of 2022-09-16/Johannian/25ddca

Then, I type in a sentence from the post I'm trying to find. For example, if I were given a thumbs-up for a post that read: Ginger, your dog Bailey is really cute. When's the next Bailey Diaries episode coming out? I might just select the first sentence and search for that on the page. Then, it'll pop up and I can read the conversation.

Once I had read as much as I had wanted, I went back to my settings and put my posts per page back to 20.

Describing it is long, but it's actually quite quick and convenient when put into action. I hope this helps!

Thanks, Johannian, for the lesson on how you do it. I'll have to read it over a few times ๐Ÿ˜ lol.
Bailey woofs hi and when she has another adventure she'll write the next chapter.
