Put me down for Chicken Farfalla with Roasted Marinara. I'll bring a cooker but may need Francine or Donner to supply the jasmine rice, depending on how errands go this week. I'll also try to do a batch of tex-mex seasoned beans and bring some for Rick's Nacho Bar.

I'm going to bring a few small Apple strudels all Aldi, so that's one dessert.

I got the lamb last night for the grape leaves. Question: should I make the grape leaves or sleeveless shish kabob?

Rick, I am sure the lamb will be delicious how ever you cook it. Yum!

Jill, I do not have Jasmine rice. The long grain rice I have is some sort of fragrant Thai rice, but I do not remember if it is Jasmine rice. Do we have to use Jasmine rice?

I went to Weis yesterday to buy Brie but they didn't have it. No crackers with Brie tomorrow. I ended up making Panna Cotta instead. We are going to have a lot of desserts. nodding

Lidl didn't have brie, but Aldi had a few left on the shelf.

I have jasmine rice. Do we still need some?

Any rice from Thailand is Jasmine rice. I also have some if you do not have enough. I got the ribs and the pickle cabbages for tomorrow, and the garlic and the ginger. They (Great Wall) has different kinds of pickled mustard green and I picked the best looking ones, different from the ones I used before. I do not remember where I bought it.

Rick, you are such a dear Lovey dubby ! If you bring the Brie, I can provide crackers. Brie goes well with apples too if somebody could bring a few - don't think we need more than just a couple of them. Otherwise I still have some grapes which will also go well with Brie.

Francine, in that case I will cook 3 cups of rice.

Black beans are in the IP

I'm picking up chicken at Aldi's to throw into the pasta dish UNLESS SOMEBODY SAYS VEGETARIAN PLEASE.

I got long-grain jasmine rice (Mahatma) in my walmart pickup. @tantefrancine If that doesn't work, LMK. Otherwise I'll cook it ahead (simpler is better) and bring it in a microwavable container (or we can use it at room temp)

I don't think Chantell is coming. I know she wanted a PB shrub. Did anybody else want one? (Clerodendron trichno-something) If not, I'll wait to dig a couple toddlers until after leaf drop, since they seem to do better if potted when dormant.

I still need to snip some sedum cuttings, although a mid-height sedum volunteered to come along when it broke off yesterday while I was weeding around it. Smiling

Rick, given the short daylight now, we probably should start at 11:30am if that is not too early for people with longer drives.

Because of the low temperature expected for tomorrow, I am actually having trouble deciding where we should sit. Any chance you might be able to arrive at 11am to lend me a hand with the setup?

It'll be 60 degrees by midafternoon and sunny... If we layer up, we should be fine, although sitting for a while might get chilly.

Anybody have a firepit they could bring? I have (dry) wood!!

Missed your post earlier, Donner. I just picked up some nice apples at Aldi's. I'll bring a few.

I'm sure there's a stash of pinto beans in my pantry, but I found lima beans, split peas, red beans, and black beans this afternoon. So I made black beans!
