My coneflower clumps look a little different though, leaves are larger

And yes it does appear to have been here last year maybe something grew that I overlooked, bc I wouldn't have planted it so close to the malva, here's a look at the full situation with the malva in the middle

I looked at Prunella vulgaris and I think I'll go with that for now, it does look an awful lot like this photo right now:
