There's just a few small things that annoy me ever so slightly (I don't know about other people, I'm speaking for myself here) but would it be possible to pin the little column on the side with the "started by", "views", and "replies" section with position: fixed and add "Jump to the end" to that column so it scrolls along as I read - so I don't have to scroll all the way down or back up to unwatch or jump to the end.

Additionally, am I the only one who gets this huge whitespace (logged out or in Incognito)?

I don't get the whitespace you see, but it may depend on what type of adblocker you use.
Plant Authorities: Catalogue of Life (Species) --- International Cultivar Registration Authorities (Cultivars) --- RHS Orchid Register --- RHS Lilium Register

Ah, I've not been using an adblocker - I've had it disabled while viewing in incognito & other ads are showing up fine when logged out

Jeboba,
I do see how it might be more convenient for many used, but in my opinion, it would annoy me. If it were to follow me on the side of the thread as I scrolled…I don't know. It seems dubious to me. Again, it should not go unnoticed that I understand that many other users could find it convenient. Just my personal thoughts on the matter.

I'd find it useful, but only if all the bottom options were floating at the right:
" Garden.org Homepage
" Forums List
" Site Talk forum
" Mark as unread
" Watch this thread
" Suggest a Change

But there are some forums that show images in that side space at the right, not sure how it could work with those forums. I do love the images there, and wish it was a part of every forum, not just certain ones. And possibly an option in settings to disable it for those who wouldn't like it.

And I agree the white space is adblocker related. I don't see it either.

Edit: Possibly moving the above suggestion to the left side, and using just simple icons for each category, with a description when mouse-hovering over. Using icons would keep it very narrow and thin. There's enough space for that and it would preserve the images at the right.

In a forum, yes, but never in a thread. I believe Jeboba is speaking of adding this only in threads.

You're right, I just didn't notice that difference before you pointed it out! *Blush*
