Thanks so much! Those are Brazilian Starfish, my new hot pepper choice for the past summer. A workhorse of a pepper. A lot of hot pepper plants are on the small side, not this one! Got to be around 5' tall and about 3' wide. Kept churning out peppers until the first hard frost. The fruits are on the small side, but with so many of them that doesn't matter. A really good drying pepper.

I filled the seed starter flats today and soaked them. Tomorrow the seeds get sown.

I went looking for my pepper seeds- I have (5 )1pint plastic cups for seeds. Have to find my cayenne seeds, but the Craigs Grande Jalapeno, an Alma Paprika, a tabasco pepper are ready. I washed and soaked in vinegar the cups, but won't stuff em with soil until tomorro. More boxes to sort thru tomorro looking at stuff.
Anyone grown the Aji Dulce#2? Wavering on trialing it for myself

Willinator, sounds like your plants will arrive right when you will be planting them! A couple of days of hardening them off, then into the ground or pots they go!

Well @gardenfish Lynda that is the plan. I have several of the planting bags and I will probably put all of my peppers in planting bags this year. I will
need to make a trip to Southwest Fertilizer and get several bags of soil then start planting! Of course, this will all happen about the end of March 2021
and the beginning of April!

I gave in to temptation and just ordered that pretty Count Dracula pepper!

Now I am truly and suredly FINISHED ordering/getting seed for this year!!

BetNC, I ordered 6 25xgallon Gro bags. I'm going to plant pepper plants in small pot, they don't need much room, I can get the cheap containers from 99c store.

I am still filling my 30 gallon gro bags. I already have 5 bags of compost and mulch in each and they are not even half full. This was a a very expensive project. Each tomato and pepper will probably cost me $10. Wish I was younger and could get a whole truckload of mix but the days of shoveling then toting more than a couple of wheelbarrow loads are long gone.

Oh no, that does sound very expensive. I had leftover clay from my garden, so I filled them up with clay at the bottom, I was able to shape it with clay, then the next layer is one bag of steer manure for $1.57, then I'm going to fill it with my compost, then the top layer will be some dirt from Costco. The purpose of the dirt is to keep my compost at bay, they sprout things easily, competing with my melon plants.

I can get the cow manure for only $2.00 a bag, I have already added a bag to each gro bag but I think that will be too rich a mixture by itself for vegetables. So far I have the cow manure and compost and I am trying to find some coir and perlite to mix with it. I was able to fill up one of the bags this afternoon with whatever I could find and I planted some sugar snap peas. By the time they are done peppers or tomatoes can go in that bag. I sowed some corbaci pepper seeds this morning, I grew them last fall and liked the taste.

I did it the lazy gardener way or maybe lasagna way. By the time the roots of my melon plants can reach the cow manure layer, it's been age for days.
