I don't know what this cutie could be.
BellaKelly, are you a member on Facebook? Tampa Orchid Club and Tampa Bay Orchid Society both have pages ..someone there might recognize it.
Do you remember where you got it from?

Thank you all, it was worth a shot. Thank You! This is a shared orchid, and my friend has passed away. She always called it a daffodil orchid, but I can't find any info to back it up. Confused

I have a suspicion I've seen something like it before, but can't put my finger on it at the moment.

Let me ponder it.

That's it Bella, that's it!

I am quite confident your orchid is Bc. Daffodil. But according to recent dna name changes, it is properly Rhyncanthae Daffodil. It is a hybrid of Rhyncholaelia glauca X Guarianthae aurantiaca. It used to be Cattleya aurantiaca.

It typically has 2-3 flowers per inflorescence, up to 2 1/2 to 3", some are fuller flowers taking after the glauca parent. Some, like yours, can be a bit open and starry!
When the cross is a species by a species, this is known as a primary hybrid.
Light: 3 hours of BRIGHT SUN per day.
Temperatures: 55-85.
Potting: clay, plastic, mounted or basket. If potted, repot every 2-3 years.
Watering: water it well, let it go dry for a day, then water again!!!

And I've added an entry in our database for it:
