Name: Paul Utah (Zone 5b) Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
I received Looney Tunes as a bonus with one of my Schriener's orders. It was a nice large plant and is growing well. It will be fun to see it bloom next summer.
Looks something like Billy the Kid, another Maryott registration. If anything like Billy, it will be a good plant. Not all of Maryott's plants do well for me, but Billy the Kid does, hopefully this one will be great for you.

I bought "Looney Tunes" from Schreiners and received it in June. The clump was so large (As usual from this grower) that I was able to split it in 2. I live in zone 5b and it sent up stalks on both portions and bloomed in July. I can't wait to see it next year. I'm expecting that it will send up lots of staks. The design is really fun. I foresee it being a favorite-
I received Looney Tunes as a gift plant from Schreiner's in June 2018. It is definitely one of my favs and also with visitors to my garden. It bloomed that first year and both years since. Blooms open well even after a cold night (sometimes not the case with Maryott's). This year I got many more scapes than ever before and they were thick with 3-4 way branching. I just went out and counted bud scars on the thickest one, 28 on a single scape! Performing above the registered stats here. I have used it for hybridizing (fertile both ways) and will hopefully have some kids bloom next year. Really looking forward to that. The pattern is so well defined on this one with nice strong bold color. Paul, I think you will really love this one and I hope it does as well for you as it has for me. The third year is when it really hit it's stride here. I give this one a five thumbs up rating.
I purchased Looney Tunes from Rich Howard at CT Daylilies in August of 2021. This summer (2022), it put on a nice show for a new plant, blooming from June 29- August 8 with more than 16 flowers. Unfortunately, by October, LT had contracted a bad case of rust and lost 2 fans.
2023 update… Looney Tunes didn't have much bloom this year, flowering from July 5-22 with only 9 blooms. I think it was putting energy into the plant, which grew 2 new fans, ending at 5. I just love the flower so much, hoping to get more of them next year. Different color looks…
