What is shown screams English Ivy (Hedera helix) to me, from the climbing/clinging habit and apparently simple alternate leaf arrangement.
Point of personal preference: please denote which state you live in. MO is the abbreviation for Missouri, but I can't google up a Whitefish, Missouri. MT is the abbreviation for Montana, where Whitefish is a nice place not far from Glacier National Park.
I think English Ivy could be grown in either state, though much more happy south than cold winter Montana.
