I am trying to identify a couple of plants. I'm in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Not a Butterfly Weed

This one I misidentified as Butterfly Weed, Asclepias tuberosa, when it was smaller, but the flowers don't seem to be correct. A plant identification app on my iPhone thinks it is weld, but the flowers aren't growing the right way. This is what it looked like when I found it:

And this is what I see now. The flowers aren't right, and it has stretched up tall, doesn't look like a milkweed at all:

It originally came back where I'd planted Butterfly Weed, but now I'm thinking it is some annual.

Flowers of Usual Size

This is a perennial that my wife planted when she got it as a gift from someone, but she isn't sure what it is:

I think the first one looks like horseweed.

The second is a Threadleaf Coreopsis.
