I like the idea umbrella on a fork (I may have to borrow it )
I use my fork to hold the hose when a place needs a good soaking.

Also the answer to why your wife purchased two thyme : One can always use a little more thyme in the garden. Smiling

Thank you! I'm happy with how it worked out, though that umbrella didn't have any vents, and it was a windy day. Still, it was in bad shape already, but it served its purpose.
