Hello! I have this plant: elephant ears in a pot, but a couple of weeks ago I noticed this tiny plant growing in the same pot, and today I noticed a couple tiny plants starting to grow and it grew very very fast. My question, if anyone can help please, is what are these new plants and if they are harmful to my Elephant Ears or if I should re-pot them?

The one inside your pot is a sunflower.
The ones in the ground are too small. The one on the left with fuzzy leaves might be another sunflower or zinnia. Just a guess.

I agree, the rogue plant growing in with your Elephant Ears looks like Sunflower. Here are a couple of photos from our database of seedlings and juvenile plants for comparison:




If you've had your Elephant Ears outside at any time, the seed was likely gifted by a bird. Happens all the time.

The right seedling in the last image might be basil, might be arugula, might be something else or a weed. Lots of things look similar when tiny. Start a new thread in a few days when then have a new set of 'true' leaves.
