I have this plant in my garden. Was very healthy when young so I saved it. It has very health, long vines with beautiful blooms and bean like pods. I tasted one sead and it tastes like bean too. Any ideas.

Looks like a green podded Hyacinth Bean to me. They are edible and considered delicious in Asia and other parts of the world. Most seed catalogs sell the purple hulled varieties around here as ornamentals, but here is an interesting website from NZ that shows a lot of different types. https://picclick.com/RARE-Hyac...
