I'm just wondering whether i would be able to move a golden pothos outside in this lovely British summer? It's about 25 Celsius on average and I live in London, so it's USDA zone 9
Southern Indiana (Zone 6a) I'll quit while I'm ahead...

I would say definitely. Sometimes pothos are even sold as outdoor trailing plants. Just start with the lowest amount of sun you can give it, and then work your way up to allowing it 4 hours of direct sun per day. Golden pothos can take anything from 0-4 hours of direct sun.

Keep temps above 55 degrees F. and keep the plant in shade at all time to prevent sunburn and leaf yellowing. You will have to monitor the soil moisture as it is likely that there will be a change in its water needs when moved outdoors.
How much light did it receive indoors? How as it doing there?

I with Will, partial shade, when I was a beginner many, many years ago I didn't know any better and put my pothos out for the summer, I did try gradually introducing it to the sun, but it couldn't take direct sun and it fried
I've moved one of mine outside mainly because I have to many after all that propagating I did during the summer. London has pretty mild winters compared to the rest of the UK.
I have many tropical outside that have always done well for years like citrus trees and spider plants and if those can do well then pothos should be fine outside. I've put mine in shade, but when the vines start to grow out they can then reach for the more direct sun. Pothos can take direct sun no problem but they have to be slowly introduced to it.
