My firestick started putting out leaves, but then they dried up. What can I do? It sits a couple of feet from a southeast window.

Those leaves are not permanent. Not a big deal if they dry out and fall off.
It is what it is!

I see. I asked because I wasn't sure if the plant was outdoors and just two feet from a south-facing window, in which case it might be getting too much radiating heat from the glass causing the leaves to dry up.

How is the plant doing now? It's been about a month since you posted your original question.

Mine is outdoors in a hanging basket where it gets lots of sun & rain naturally that drains well. It's got the orange peach tips turning like _Bleu_ 's picture. The cool weather of Dec. seems to have stimulated this color change from green. I will get a picture soon. Smiling Thumbs up

Mine in Arizona only turns red in the colder times of the year. it would never do it indoors.

Beware the Firestick!
As a Euphorbia it has that milky white irritating sap and contact with the skin has caused violent reactions and there are proven cases of dogs and other animals be coming very ill after contact with the plant or chewing the stems

Putting out new sticks and leaves. I just read maybe it needs to be out in full sun. I'm in zone 7a.

I used to have one of these. I believe I let it have too much water, and it died. They are very pretty. Nice picture!
