"Paeonia 'Maxcine Wolfe', (4-JAP-PK) lactiflora cultivar Peony, (Tischler - Brand Peony Farms 1969), USDA Hardiness Zone 2, Medium height, large anemone, dark pink guard petals, cupped, yellow white petaloids, midseason late bloomer , Michigan Bloom Month 6a.
Maxicine Wolfe? No idea. The center petaloids vary from year to year. Some times white, then yellow and sometimes a little pink mixed in. Whatever, the resulting peony is quite good looking and a keeper."
