    This gourd is used primarily for craft purposes. It is a nice shape for coloring as Easter eggs or wood burning for ornaments.
    I have tried to use them as dummy nest eggs for chickens. It did not work. The chickens were no dummies and kicked the look-a-likes out of the nest.

    110 days to maturity, so in short-season gardens, start inside early, and then transplant out after last frost.
