Hardy in Seattle.
Give this some room. By the end of the summer it sprawls 4-5 feet in diameter, much more than the label says. Label says it grows to 12" x 14". I would say 16" x40". It's nice flowing down a slope or over an edge. A clumper not a runner, which is nice, and my clumps do not increase in size much.
I use scissors to cut it to stubs in winter or spring, this is a 30 second job. Pruners and grass shears do NOT easily cut it.
Some years there are quite a few seedlings. They grow slowly, so are easy to pull out. Seedlings come true to type.
