    Bred by Mrs R O Backhouse using cultivar Poetaz before 1914.
    Winner of the Award of Merit in 1922.

    Xenophon is listed twice in the RHS Daffodil Register,
    The other listed daffodil is a division 1 classification w/ yellow perianth and yellow corona (1 Y Y).
    Noted as a syn, of Alexander Moissi. It is also registered in the International Daffodil List.
