This hybrid tea is exceptionally difficult to find in commerce, but it occasionally is available from one of the own-root rose nurseries. The blooms, with ruffled petals, are an irresistible blend of pink and yellow. It is described in some sources as a tall rose, but my own-root Calico is tiny, frail, and temperamental, producing only one or two blooms a year. The blooms have a nice fragrance, similar to sweet tea.
