Distinctive smallish white Echeveria with fat, round, glaucous leaves and pinkish, glaucous flowers. Usually solitary. Highly desired and rather touchy in cultivation. Susceptible to rot due to overwatering or the accumulation of water between the leaves. May require overhead protection to avoid meltdowns after rainfall. Leaving the dead lower leaves on the plant may help avoid complications. From Oaxaca, where it was found in 1974 on north-facing cliffs. Distributed as ISI 1199 in 1980.

Oops ! I'd apparently ordered two, & the next one arrived the very next day, yet is larger. (More like this one, is flowering sized.)
ShawnSteve On June 3, 2022 Miscellaneous Event
After just a few hours, of being in sunlight, there's already changes in the appearance.

Just arrived. Now, I've to wait until it grows enough, to have that perfect "farina" it's so very well known for !
