Offsetting Arabian aloe with gray-green or pinkish gray leaves and pinkish flowers. Teeth are relatively small and widely spaced. Inflorescences are multibranched, with laxly flowered racemes, appearing in winter. Flowers have yellowish (or pale pink) mouths when open. Floral features resemble A. abyssicola and A. serriyensis, but those plants are solitary.

Found near Al Ahmar, Yemen and described in 1999. The word ahmar means red in Arabic. Rainfall there is about 4 inches a year, with dry winters. This species is rare in cultivation.
