Smallish Dudleya from southern California and northern Baja California with pale yellow, tubular flowers. Leaves may be more or less glaucous. Flowers are tubular, with recurved (spreading) tips and a darker midstripe, appearing in spring. Rosettes are much smaller and close up on themselves during summer. They start solitary and then divide to form clumps.

Found at elevations up to 7000 feet. Relatively cold hardy for a Dudleya; habitat may dip to freezing temperatures (just barely). In habitat this plant is often found growing on rocks or north-facing slopes, or under the shade of larger plants. It may require more shade protection than most Dudleyas during summer.
