Hello...

I am looking for information about the truth regarding the toxicity of Hemerocallis Fulva or true day lilies. to cats There is confusion about this. On the poison control site , the SPCA and at vet offices, it is posted as highly toxic, yet the photos accompanying the 'day lily' is actually a Tiger Lily,

I have read in other forums on this page (including a survey which I completed... though it was set up back in 2012 and may no longer be useful) that the lily my cat ate is not toxic, not lethal and that that particular day lily is actually not viewed in recent times as part of the lily family.

Very confused about this. ... and having spent over $500+ Canadian to get my cat treated and thoroughly traumatized by an overnight sty and intravenous fluids, follow up blood work, I will miffed if the info circulating all these years is untrue and has not been updated.

Any experiences or thoughts on this, please let me know.
