From a cutting from Diana in Houston 1992. 7 Sister type clusters on an easy care year long bloomer. I have 2 in front yard & 1 on west side yard February 1, 2021: Maintenance performed (Put Bayer 3N1 & trimmed back some)
March 10, 2021: Plant emerged (Spring flush of dark new leaves with burgundy underside)
March 27, 2021: Bloomed (1st flower opened & lots of buds on 4' wide x 3' high bushes)
March 1, 2022: Plant emerged (I always trim & put Bayer 3 in 1 about Valentines & as usual sprouts appear about March 1.)
March 22, 2022: Bloomed (1st flower opened )
May 25, 2022: Maintenance performed (1st flush is finished so trimmed for next to come.)
April 1, 2023: Bloomed (Seemed late but i trimmed in Jan. so by the time they sent out new growth all 3 are blooming now)
March 1, 2024: Plant emerged (Full of burgundy new growth all so healthy & started blooming about March 20,'24)

May 1, 2021 a neighbor on back side of Wallingsford brought me lots of long branch cutting for me to cut up & root. I rooted 2 nice plants by Fall that grew & bloomed April 2022 May 1, 2021: Obtained plant (Got about 50 cuttings from several 2' to 3' branches & put in water to root)
July 7, 2021: Miscellaneous Event (Only 2 rooted - one larger I planted in a hanging basket smaller in a 6"pot on patio.)
March 4, 2022: Transplanted (Put from hanging baskets to gold tall vase pots so they can hang over edge for now. They both have about 6 stems 16" to 18" long)
April 8, 2022: Bloomed (Both bushes almost 3' tall on arch are full of hundreds of tiny buds. 1st 1.25" flower is palest pink almost white which is not med pink of branch I made cuttings from.)
May 26, 2022 - May 22, 2022: Miscellaneous Event (Both sides have reached top of arch so I tied there)
January 15, 2023: Miscellaneous Event (I planted both plants in ground on sides of arch. Note In the gold tall pots hey crossed over top in Sept but I cut them to 2' because I thought I was moving. )
February 21, 2023: Bloomed (found 1st few little flowers today. a couple on each side.)
March 1, 2024: Bloomed (Just starting a couple blooms on arch)

So pretty in Spring but not so much in heat of Summer. Will take better care March 4, 2021: Maintenance performed (Trimmed to 4' & put Bayer 3n1)
April 13, 2021: Bloomed (1st flower of 2021)
March 25, 2022: Bloomed (New burgundy stema & flowers are starting)
April 15, 2022: Bloomed (I trimmed & fertilized mid March & its put out lots of growth & 1st flower. Love the burgundy new growth. NOTE I also have new growth on 5 or 6 cuttings I rooted over winter at its base. will dig soon & pot up)
April 22, 2022: Transplanted (Watered well then dug early in shade 6 plants well rooted from cuttings taken in Dec. Different sizes & 2 with a bud already. Put on porch in bright light not to shock too bad.)
April 1, 2023: Bloomed (Lots of new growth & lots of buds but this is 1st flower of 2023)
March 21, 2024: Miscellaneous Event (Pretty healthy do to 3 in 1 & banana peels. Lovely dark Spring foliage is full of buds for Easter.)

3 sizes cut & in a vase. The largest was 5". Beautiful!

March 1, 2021: Maintenance performed (Cut to 5' & put Bayer 3n1)
April 1, 2021: Bloomed (1st bud that opened completely on the 9 th )
April 1, 2022: Bloomed
April 1, 2023: Bloomed (I trimmed to 5' in Jan. so it's finally got 1 floer.)
March 1, 2024: Maintenance performed (Only a 6' stem so I cut to 5' & it is coming back nicely by March 15 with 1st blooms on new growth.)
April 1, 2024: Bloomed (I trimmed to 5' in Dec. & it's making huge flowers that are stunning. Start pale yellow then blush pale pink on petal edges.)
