Received in seed swap 2023, plan to winter sow and use in Johnson Project Grow garden. Grows to 3 feet, NOTE: Establishes with a long taproot, Will Naturalize Self fertile. Package says purple blooms. Compare to see if it is Chedlow cultivar. Note it is a biennial, leaves in first year and flowers & seed pods the second. After flowering, it dies. Self seeds readily, will colonize. Prefers part shade and moist soil. |
