From the late hosta breeder Herb Benedict comes this wonderful seedling selection of Epimedium grandiflorum. Epimedium 'Benedict's Violet' makes a dwarf clump of bright red stems and heart-shaped green leaves to only 9" tall, topped in spring with relatively large violet flowers...light purple backs with darker purple spurs.
