Planted 10/2021 from Abbott Creek. Great growth through winter, spectacular bloom in spring. Replanted 10/2022 from Abbott Creek on each side of steps. Thrived despite Christmas flash freeze. Blooming 3/28/2023, with one plant growing nicely until 8/2023 after bloom stalk was cut off in June. 2 new gallon-size plants from Abbott Creek planted 10/9/2023 on each side of the concrete steps. Full bloom 4/10/2024 alongside steps. Quart-size plants bought at end of season also blooming, but very spindly.
